About Me

I'm a school nurse doing what school nurses do: standing rigid in the front-lines of the war against lice, patching up playground boo-boos, begging parents to bring their child's emergency medication to school, and helping the snacks in the teacher's lounge mysteriously disappear. I cover three elementary schools and a middle school, and 3000 students. Sometimes my job is funny, sometimes it's heartbreaking, and sometimes it's rewarding in a way words can't describe; above all, it's unique.
